Surely we can't let that be the last post.

As I write from Florence, with Rome, Sorento, Asissi, and Pompei behind us, I
can tell you that I am having a great time, as are your friends and
aquaintances on the trip. Jessie Faulkner is truly living it up! See you in
a few days.

Mr. Robbins
[Latin/Greek teacher]

Yowza. Jessie, all I can say is I expect pictures. And stories. ;)

Yeah, I'm pissed enough to double-post this.

So:
  • First semester, stayed up way past midnight on a consistent basis
  • Have basically been in almost perfect health all year, a rarity for me
  • Recently have had trouble even making it to midnight most nights
  • Slept about 45 minutes total last night, after staying up all night to finish an English paper that I really, really didn't want hanging over my head during Spring Break. Not fun.
  • Staggered to school this morning to discover I'm now coming down with a cold.
  • FUCK.

Any questions?

On the plus side, Mr. Lake simply didn't show up today, which I guessed was his Spring Break gift to the class, half of which (including, I might add, Mitch "Student Body President" Danforth) didn't do the paper.

You remember that part about not having this hanging over my head?

Linda, to answer your question: I've been deliberately trying to keep things quiet, because I really don't want to get people's hopes up when the unfortunate fact is that we can only fit so many people on a bus, and Steve and Hoss seem to have already made themselves part of the ruling trifecta (no offense to Steve or Hoss, who were perfectly within their rights when I didn't take steps to make things happen).

To be perfectly honest, I have absolutely no idea how we're going to figure out who's doing what. Up to this point we've just been concerned with making sure we can reserve the damn thing. Dealing with the interpersonal politics of a "guest list" is going to be horribly unpleasant, but... well, there it is.
